- Introduction
Cascador and its Affiliates ( Collectively “Cascador” “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy and safeguarding your personal data. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, store, protect, and retain personal information, including applications submitted for our programs, partnerships, or opportunities. It applies to all personal data processed by or on behalf of Cascador, in compliance with the applicable data protection laws.
This Website serves as a central platform for Cascador’s activities and initiatives. It provides information about our people, mission, and organisational structure, and facilitates engagement with Cascador through a range of digital services. These include tools that enable individuals to submit and manage applications to Cascador programmes, access and participate in our application and selection processes, and apply for roles within companies founded or supported by Cascador entrepreneurs.
The Website also hosts educational and informational content, including a free online course on starting a company, our blog and thought-leadership materials, and profiles of founders and ventures that have participated in Cascador programmes. In the course of providing these services and resources, Cascador may collect and process personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

5. Application Information and Intellectual Property
Due to the volume of applications we receive and the nature of the information submitted, Cascador cannot guarantee that information included in application materials will be treated as confidential, particularly where such information consists of general business ideas, concepts, methods, or information that is publicly known or commonly used within an industry, and that Cascador does not undertake to avoid such overlap. To the extent application materials include general business ideas, concepts, methods, or information that is publicly known or commonly used within an industry, such information may be considered non-confidential and may be reviewed, shared, or discussed as reasonably necessary for application review, programme delivery, due diligence, or related purposes.

For successful applications or ongoing relationships, data may be retained as required for legal, operational, and administrative purposes. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the context in which it was collected. Where information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymise it, subject to applicable legal obligations.
